Uptown & Warehouse District Real Estate
Twenty-six years finding people their place in this city — from Uptown shotguns to Warehouse District lofts, no drama, just steady progress.
65% of her clients buy Warehouse District or Uptown condos.
About
Before she was a REALTOR®, Erin Stopak was a notarial secretary — five years with Winters Title, five more with what was then Stewart Title. She was already in the rooms where real estate happened, just not yet running the deal. A friend was at a brokerage that needed an office manager. It was there that Erin got her real estate license. After a year, she left to work at another title company, until she was asked back to the brokerage four years later to help sell a new construction condo project on the Lakefront. That project is where it started.
She was born and raised in the city, having lived Uptown, in Lakeview, on the Northshore, then back Uptown again. Over 26 years she has worked with both locals and transplants to find their place in this city. She has extensive knowledge of condominiums here, having sold units in most of the buildings in the Warehouse District and served 12 years as president of a condo association.
Married 28 years, with two kids now in college, she's a Saints fan through and through. Ask her about a perfect Saturday and it depends on the season — a picnic at Audubon Park in early spring, a slow afternoon by the pool once summer sets in, football on Sundays in the fall, and in December, a drive down St. Charles Avenue to see the lights.

How I Work

What I Believe
The new construction going up around this city is starting to look the same — a two-story house dressed up like a Victorian, front door set back behind a two-car driveway, primary bedroom up front, living space in back. Every new home on the river side of Magazine Street between Napoleon and Louisiana looks like the last one. It's killing the character of the neighborhood. Do something different.
Dual agency. I won't represent both sides of a transaction. In my experience, no matter how I disclose it, one side is always uncomfortable and that's not a compromise I'll make.
Why Work With Me
A couple from Lafayette started with me in the spring of 2024, splitting time between here and there while they decided on a second home. Every couple of months they brought a new list of condos to see, circling back to the same two buildings each time.
I never pushed an opinion on either one. Some clients need room to move at their own pace, and my job is to make sure they see everything — not to talk them into a decision before they're ready.
Two years later, a unit came up in a completely different building — one where listings rarely go public. I told them plainly this was the one, laid out why, and told him to make the offer. Thirty days later, we were at the closing table. He put it simply afterward: they closed that day because he chose me. That's the job — know the market well enough to recognize the moment, and have the patience to wait for it.
I'm part of New Orleans' only multi-generational, family-owned real estate brokerage — a team of experienced local agents who have spent decades building this market.
